1980年千葉県生まれ。2003年多摩美術大学美術学部グラフィックデザイン学科卒業。2008年よりニューヨーク在住。アニメーション、マンガ、ドローイング、油彩など、多岐にわたる作品を国内外で発表している。

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1980. Graduated from the Graphic Design Department of Tama Art University in 2003 and has been living in New York since 2008. Kondoh has exhibited a wide range of works, including animation, manga, drawings, and oil paintings, both domestically and internationally.

出品作のタイトル《KiyaKiya》とは、「胸がきやきやする」という古い日本語から取った言葉。近藤は、澁澤龍彥『少女コレクション序説』中の「幼時体験について」という1編で、この言葉と出会った。「何とも説明しがたい、懐かしいような、気がかりなような気分」、「既視感（デジャ・ヴュ）」の気分を表すこの言葉の存在を知ったことが、制作のきっかけとなった。一人の少女が同時進行する3つの時間軸にそれぞれ存在し、少しずつ干渉し合い、入れ替わりそれを永遠に繰り返すという物語を6分半で表現している。

The title of her exhibited work KiyaKiya is derived from an old Japanese expression “mune ga kiyakiya suru,” which describes an inexplicable feeling of nostalgia or unease. Kondoh encountered this term in Tatsuhiko Shibusawa’s Introduction to a Collection of Girls, in the essay “On Childhood Experiences.” Learning about this phrase which expresses a feeling akin to déjà vu was the impetus for her creation. The story is expressed in a six-and-a-half-minute animation, where a girl exists on three concurrent timelines, gradually interfering with each other, swapping places, and repeating this cycle eternally.
