ARTIST

昭和47（1972）年東京都生まれ。平成6（1994）年、桑沢デザイン研究所写真研究科卒業。平成13（2001）年、ドイツ・ベルリンに拠点を置く。平成26（2014）年と28（2016）年に摘水軒記念文化振興財団の助成を受ける。現在は東京在住。

主な個展に、 「さいたま市プラザノース Domain of Art 26」（2021）、「OTAアートプロジェクト＜マチニエヲカク＞」（2020）、「JR宇和島運転区扇形車庫再生準備事業」（2020）、「JR EAST meets ART@高輪ゲートウェイFest」（2020）、「交流の形 SHIBAURA HOUSE」（2020）などがある。グループ展には、「大田区OPENアトリエ」（2021）、「富士の山ビエンナーレ」（2020）、「鉄工島フェスIRON ISLAND FES」（2019）など。

Born in Tokyo in 1972. Graduated from the Photography Department of Kuwasawa Design School in 1994. Established a base in Berlin, Germany in 2001. In 2014 and 2016, he received a grant from the Tsuzukiken Memorial Foundation for Cultural Promotion. Currently lives and works in Tokyo.

素材のステンレスは表面に取り込まれた景色がその造形自体を曖昧にし、また錆に対して自己修復性のある強度が広がる妄想や距離を現実にできると考えています。

風で揺らぎ反射光や影などを生む作品に日常の中の非日常が映り込んでいるのかもしれません。

I believe that the stainless steel material can make the scenery captured on its surface obscure the form itself, and its self-healing strength against rust can make the spread of fantasy and distance a reality. Perhaps the extraordinary in the everyday is reflected in the works that sway in the wind and create reflected light and shadows.
