ARTIST

昭和29（1954）年、宮城県生まれ。昭和52（1977）年、日本大学芸術学部写真学科卒業。昭和59（1984）年、筑波大学大学院芸術学研究科博士課程修了。

『写真美術館へようこそ』（講談社現代新書/1996、サントリー学芸賞受賞）ほか著書多数。写真評論以外の仕事に『茸日記』（［詩集］三月兎社、1996年）、『アフリカのおくりもの』（［詩とドローイング］福音館書店/2001）、『石都奇譚集』（［小説とエッセイ］サウダージ・ブックス/2010）、『月読み』（［俳句とドローイング］三月兎社/2018）、『完璧な小さな恋人』（［詩集］ふげん社/2022）などがある。巷房（東京）、ふげん社（同）などでドローイング、コラージュなどの個展も多数開催している。

Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1954. Graduated from the Department of Photography, Nihon University College of Art in 1977. Completed a doctorate at the Graduate School of Art, University of Tsukuba in 1984.
He is the author of “Welcome to the Museum of Photography” (Kodansha Gendai Shinsho/1996, Suntory Academic Prize) and many other books. In addition to photo criticism, his works include “Mushroom Diary” ([poetry collection] Sangatsu Usagi-sha/1996), “Africa no Okurimono” ([poetry and drawings] Fukuinkan Shoten/2001), “Ishito Kitan Shu” ([Novels and Essays] Saudade Books/2010), “Tsuki Yomi” ([Haiku and Drawings] Sangatsu Usagi-sha/2018), and “Perfect Little Lover” ([poetry book] Fugensha/2022). He has held numerous solo exhibitions of drawings and collages at Korobo (Tokyo) and Fugensha (Tokyo).

作品ステートメント

完璧な小さな恋人

飯沢耕太郎は26年ぶりの第二詩集『完璧な小さな恋人』を、ふげん社から出版しました。本年度中に刊行予定の『日本写真大全』（全3巻）執筆中に溢れ出た22の詩篇が、さまざまアーティストの写真・絵・コラージュ作品とともに、気鋭のデザイナー・田中せりさんのデザインと、熊谷新子さんの編集により、一冊にまとまりました。コロナ時代の詩とヴィジュアルを模索する珠玉の一冊です。

本展では、詩集におさめた写真・イラスト・立体作品を展示します。出品作家は飯沢耕太郎、野村仁衣那、ときたま、磯部昭子、下瀬信雄、村上賀子、サイトウマサミツ、小林小百合、川田喜久治、小平雅尋、尾仲浩二の11名です。

A LITTLE PERFECT LOVER

Kotaro Iizawa has published his second book of poems, “Perfect Little Lover,” his first in 26 years, from Fugensha. Twenty-two poems that overflowed during the writing of “The Complete Collection of Japanese Photography” (3 volumes), scheduled for publication this year, have been brought together in one volume along with photographs, drawings, and collage works by various artists, designed by up-and-coming designer Seri Tanaka, and edited by Shinko Kumagai. It is a gem of a book that explores the poetry and visuals of the Corona era.

This exhibition will feature photographs, illustrations, and three-dimensional works from the book. The eleven artists exhibiting their work include Kotaro Iizawa, Niina Nomura, Tokitama, Akiko Isobe, Nobuo Shimose, Iwauko Murakami, Masamitsu Saito, Sayuri Kobayashi, Kikuji Kawada, Masahiro Kodaira, and Koji Onaka.
